I walked out of "The Impossible" - the movie about the horrors a family of tourists goes though during the 2004 Tsunami - tonight, about 50 minutes into it.
I've walked out of dozens of movies, over the years, because they were bad. This was the first movie I've ever left early because it was too good. I don't know how the movie's makers quite managed it, but it was like I was there, like it was my family, and I didn't want to be there. Remarkable.
