Concrete part II

"Actually" , my wife says, "I see glare, not halos". She's lovely despite being a mutant.

Oh, and there were 2 points I meant to add re the graphic in the last post. First, it's a fantastically cocnrete sales pitch; hard to argue with. Second, imagine being married for 10 years and not realising that your wife or husband saw the world completely differently - literally.

One of my main roles was boosting everyones accessibility knowledge at my last company, so when a website was put in front of me for testing I instantly complained that the links were the same colour as the main text, and at the very least they should have an underline. Everyone looked completely confused.

Turns out I have a (quite common?) form of red-green colour blindness that I was completely unaware of. It kicked in for that particular combination of colours and worked quite nicely in my favour -- end result, the links were changed to something more useful!
