I've spent a fascinating 70 minutes this evening chatting with Andrew Kent about his work using Goldratt's and Deming's work in healthcare here in the UK.
This might sound implausible … but Andrew makes statistical process control sound interesting and relevant. He gives a lovely example of SPC during our chat – using SPC to make a better cup of tea. He puts a nice slant on TOC and its importance to healthcare.
