A couple of weeks ago, I got to talking to a Polish chap - called Pete - on the train last week and it turns out that he's a web-developer who's followed his wife to Edinburgh where she's got some fancy job. He's having trouble getting interviews through recruitment agencies - something I experienced when I first moved to Scotland too.
Now maybe I'm not the best judge of people in the world but I got a strong feeling during our 30 minute chat that Pete is the sort of guy I'd be happy to work with. Although I can't vouch for his technical competence, I've spent a couple of hours of my own time helping him to rewrite his CV so it fits the Scottish Market.
You can see his CV by clicking here: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=ah2b9gg2zgg_30d2dcrd.
If you'd like his contact details then email me at clarke.ching@gmail.com. I'm not asking for any money, nor acting as a recruitment agent - just trying to do someone a favour.
