Thanks to the 9 people who kindly offered suggestions about how I could speed up my imdb and ebert movie searching.
As it turns out I found out that someone else had solved the problem for me. It is the firefox Movies and Music Search 1.41 extension. It was the final straw that tipped me from using the wonderful multiple-tab-sitting-on-top-of-IE avant browser and switch to firefox.
