Spam free email addresses on the web

Here’s an easy way to put your email address on the web but still hide it from spammers.

1. Visit www.tinyurl.com then put in your email address like this:  “mailto:my.name@gmail.com”. 
2. Click the button and it will give you a tinyurl like this: tinyurl.com/3n9xc.
3. Use this url in public instead of your email address and spammers won’t find you.

Try it:

1. Click Email Clarke Ching at Gmail (which points to tinyurl.com/3n9xc)
2. It will open up a new email to me in your email client.  
3. Write me a note in the email
4. Send it to me!

It works when I try it and I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work for lots of people.  Can you think of any reason why it won’t work?
