Functional Blindness

I’m not a great fan of Steven Covey, but I like this quote from his latest book / cash cow, The 8th Habit:

Author John Gardner once said, "Most ailing organizations have developed a functional blindness to their own defects. They are not suffering because they cannot resolve their problemes, but because they cannot see their problmes."
