I was telling someone today that Aisling, my 2 year-old daughter, “rabbits on a lot”.
But then I remembered rabbits don’t talk. In fact, I don’t think rabbits make any sound, at all.
So, the expression “rabbits on” is complete and utter nonsense.
Then I remembered that most of the time she talks complete and utter nonsense.
So, it makes sense after all.
Does anyone know where the expression “to rabbit on” comes from?
