"I want to give you a lobotomy about change" - Jim Collins on change

In 2001 Fast Company published a truely excellent article about CHANGE by Jim Collins, author of Good to Great and co-author of Built to Last

It starts:

I want to give you a lobotomy about change. I want you to forget everything you've ever learned about what it takes to create great results. I want you to realize that nearly all operating prescriptions for creating large-scale corporate change are nothing but myths.

Please go and read it.

They should charge for this kinda stuff.

Having already gone completely kookie on my site for today, I will have some thoughts on that article tomorrow. Keep hitting "refresh" over at my site until you see them. :-)

But for the moment, I will say that I loved the line about "The Chick Who Led the Breakthrough at Egg!" Too true.
