A few months ago I switched over to web-based bloglines RSS reader. So far it's fantastic. I recommend it.
I've been using typepad to host and manage this blog for about 3 months now. It too is fantastic and well worth the monthly fee for the stress it saves me.

I've found the Blog to be rather slow most of the time, especially slow when posting comments. Even managed to double post a comment once when the server timed out and I did a refresh.
Recently started my own blog on my own server and it is really quick. Nearly always sub second to render a page.
That said it is all about comparisons: it may well be that you are use to ever so slow corporate, intranet based systems that are badly designed :-).

What the hell is a Blogline? And what are they specifically used for? Sincerely, a new guy to the whole blog thing...

Not to be creepy or anything, but I was looking for blogs about dogs (and puppies) for a friend using Google and your blog came up.
Looking to see if the blog had any real puppies in it, I found this post and just loved seeing that you're a happy TypePad customer!
